UNITED
With Aspen as the backdrop, and Maroon 5’s Memories, the score, small town, Zoe and New Yorker, Jack are stranded at Dallas International Airport during Thanksgiving holiday. After finally departing to opposite ends of the country, Jack tracks Zoe down in Louisiana and invites her to join him in Colorado for Christmas. A fish out of water, Zoe does not fit in with the hoity toity Aspen crowd, and counters her discomfort with cocktails.
Outspoken and liberated Zoe is exiled from the family, but not quite from Jack’s heart. The two go on with their disparate lives, she as a loving care-giver at a retirement home, in Dallas, and he as an attorney at the family law firm in Manhattan, about to make junior partner. Then reconnect by fate at Dallas airport the same time the following holiday they realize that they still share deep feelings for one another, and perhaps they each are just what the other needs.
